(Ascension to Pentecost 21st- 31st May)
What is it?
Thy Kingdom Come is about praying for our communities and those in them to hear, experience and receive the Good News of Jesus.
How can we join in this year?
Pray every day for five friends or family who do not yet know Jesus.
Pray every day for our local communities and our City of Derby.
Prayer and care- pray in practical ways (safely) to care for others.
Light a candle, place it on your windowsill or doorstep (safely) and pray the Lord’s Prayer at 7pm every evening with others across the world- let’s light up the world!
Join in with St Nick’s and St Paul’s Zoom Prayer on a Wednesday at 8. (If you don’t normally receive an email with details of call- contact Rev’d Becky). We have signed up the churches to commit to an hour of prayer (27th May) as part of the 24/7 prayer going on in the city during Thy Kingdom Come. You can also sign up individually to commit to an hour of prayer from Ascension to Pentecost filled with an unbroken chain of prayer – click on this link to sign up
